Oklahoma Muni Looking to Commit $30M to Private Equity

According to meeting materials from the February 28th investment committee meeting, the Oklahoma Municipal Retirement Fund is aiming to commit $15 million to private equity in 2024 and in 2025. 

General consultant, ACG, recommends a $15 million commitment to Berkshire Partners XI for the 2024 investment.

Berkshire has closed $4.7 billion of their $6.5 billion target and expects to close before June 30, 2024.

As of December 31, 2023, the $700 million Retirement Fund allocates 0.8% to private equity with a target of 5% by 2028.
