LA Fire & Police Commit $30M to Spark Capital

The Los Angeles Police & Fire Pension System (LAFPP) has approved two commitments to private equity’s Spark Capital, totalling $30 million, according to a report from the March 21 board meeting.

$10 million was allocated to Spark Capital Fund VIII. 

An additional $20 million was allocated to Spark Capital Growth Fund V.

Both investments closed on December 21, 2023. 

As of February 29th, the $30 billion LAFPP allocates 16.94% to private equity.
