Ontario Teachers’ Pension Announces CIO Appointments

The Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan disclosed the appointment of three new officers into executive roles in a recent press release.

Stephen McLennan was appointed Chief Investment Officer, Asset Allocation. McLennan has been serving as Actin Head of Investments since September 2023 after news of the departure of former CIO, Ziad Hindo.

Gillian Brown was appointed Chief Investment Officer, Public & Private Investments. Brown was most recently the Head of Capital Markets.

In addition, Jonathan Hausman was appointed Chief Strategy Officer where he will oversee the Sustainable Investing activities and lead its Global Investment Strategy department.
