San Antonio Police & Fire Commits $30M to Private Credit; Preparing Private Equity Searches

The San Antonio Police and Fire Pension Fund has approved a $30 million commitment to the WTI Fund XI, a private credit strategy, according to meeting minutes from the July 17 board meeting.

Also disclosed in meeting minutes, the Pension Fund approved initiating a private equity search that will be focused on buyouts and growth equity strategies. NEPC recommended  up to three $20 million commitments by year-end to achieve the annual commitment target of $85 million.

Thus far in 2023, the board has made one private equity commitment of $20 million to Exponent Private Equity Partners V.
