San Diego County ERA Commits $75M to Private Credit

The  San Diego County Employees’ Retirement Association disclosed a $75 million commitment to the Oaktree CLO Equity Fund I, according to materials from the December 14th Board meeting. 

The Fund will primarily invest in the equity and junior mezzanine tranches of Oaktree managed CLOs as well as related loan accumulation warehouses.

As of September 30, 2023, the $16 billion pension fund has an actual and target allocation to private credit of 0.9% and 3% respectively.
