San Mateo ERA Commits $10M to Private Equity

The San Mateo Employees’ Retirement Association has approved the commitment of $10 million to private equity according to notes from their December 5th board meeting. 

The $10 million was allocated to DCVC Bio III as part of their Venture Capital portfolio.

As of June 30, 2023, the $6.1 billion Retirement Fund has an actual and target asset allocation to private equity of 6.5% and 7% respectively.
