South Carolina Retirement Commits $75M to Real Estate

The South Carolina Retirement System has disclosed a $75 million investment with Equus Investment Partnership XII.

The investment to the value-add real estate fund managed by Equus Capital closed on September 30, 2022, according to meeting materials from the December 1 retirement board meeting.

As of September 30, 2022, the $36.8 billion Retirement System has an actual and target allocation to real estate of 12% and 9% respectively.
