LACERS Commits $75M to Real Estate

The Los Angeles City Employees’ Retirement System has approved two commitments totalling $75 million according to notes from the January 9th board meeting.

$50 million was allocated to Waterton Residential Property Venture XV. In addition, $25 million was allocated to Kayne Anderson Core Real Estate.

As of October 31, 2023, LACERS allocates 13.09% to real assets while they target 12% to the asset class.
