State Universities of Illinois Commits $75M to Real Estate

The State Universities Retirement System (SURS) of Illinois allocated $75 million to real estate according to a news release from the September 8th meeting. 

It was approved to commit $75 million to Brookfield Strategic Real Estate (BSREP) Fund V. 

Brookfield currently manages approximately $97.6 million in SURS assets. SURS currently has a $2.6 billion real assets portfolio.
