Miami Beach Fire & Police Pension Commits $20M to Private Equity

The Miami Beach Fire & Police Pension Fund disclosed three recent commitments to private equity totaling $20 million, according to the September Board meeting minutes. 

$5 million was allocated to Taurus Private Markets Fund II, $5 million allocated to 50 South Capital Private Equity Core Fund XI, and $10 million to NB Strategic Co-Investment Partners Fund V.

As of June 30, 2023, the $1.1 billion pension fund had allocated 0.2% of their holdings to private equity with a target allocation of 0%.
