NY Common Appoints Emerging Managers Director

The New York State Common Retirement Fund has appointed Sylvester McClearn as Director of their Emerging Managers Program. 

He had previously been appointed as Interim Director of the Program in February of 2023. Prior to that McClearn worked as a Senior Investment Officer for the Emerging Manager Program in the New York State Comptroller’s office. 

As of March 2023, $10.2 billion has been committed to the Emerging Manager Program.
