Texas TRS Commits $175 million to Alts

According to materials from the January 2024 board meeting, the Teachers Retirement System of Texas has approved two commitments to private equity totaling $175 million. 

$125 million was allocated to CVC Capital Partners Asia VI. 

An additional $50 million was allocated to Trinity Hunt Partners VII. 

As of August 31, 2023, the $186.6 billion Retirement Fund currently allocates 17.69% to private equity.
